Decided after 2 denials with another surgeons office to switch to another surgeon who finally had the rights to do the lap band at Baystate Health Systems.  I am now going to Dr. John Kasper.  Had 1st appt. in Sept. 07 and the 2nd appt. on Oct. 15.  Got approval 2 days later!!!  Finally over a year later I am going to have the procedure that I have so desperately tried for.  I have been having more problems with my asthma and high blood pressure.  I also found out that the left valve of my heart is only pumping out 1/2 of what the right side is.  They say it is due to all the years I have had high blood pressure.  Finally  I will have the chance to be healthy for once in my life.
