Jitters

Well Hello as you can see I am called Pokyokie but my given name is Ray,and I am just under 3 days away from my surgery and I find that all I have wanted is for the date to get here but now i find I have gotten the jitters. now first off you might want to know about me is I am a Christian and i am proud that my faith keeps me and substains me this surgery is for me to live longer to see my Nephew Rocky grow up to watch my niece Chancy get Married and to serve God here on earth. I look at this like now that the Lord working on my inside I am working on the outside.

I also spend a lot of time volunteering at our local Senior center which I am a board member and spend alot of time there just helping out I  teach cumputer class there and will resume that as soon as my doctor gives me the  go ahead. on Wed. evenings I help out on the church bus when we have team kids that is kids up to 6th grade we have Team kids during the school year and then not during the summer.

I really love doing these things  and even did a week with about 90 kids at Falls Creek a huge Christian church camp and I want to keep doing these things and even more but my knees were getting so bad under my wieght and with a few falls I have had making my back pain so bad and just the pain i have from being as big as I am I know this is the right thing for me.
