Hi Carol! I saw your post about the scale! I have always been like this with every dieting attempt (I'm still pre-op)! I'll probably be the same way with WLS. If you figure out how to "un-obsess" yourself, please let me know. I think I will ask my husband to remove it while I'm in the hospital, and not tell me where it is. That might help. But, when I get back to work, I'll have to deal with the doctor's scale that is in our women's restroom!!! Best wishes.

I went to visit Carol last night in the hospital. She is doing great!!!!! Her lap rny took less than two hours. She went into surgery at about 12:30 and by 5:00 she was in her room talking to me looking great.
