Almost Ready to submit to insurance

I went to my nutrition class today and filled out all the rest of the paperwork, got weighed and had my picture taken. As it turns out my primary insurance wants a large endless list of things before they will even consider you and my secondary insurance does not require much at all.The decision was made today to turn in all that we have and have my primary insurance deny so my secondary will come in and pay as primary. I will have to pay the 20% but I really want this to happen this year and with all the swelling, I do not think I have months to wait!
All I have left is the psych eval and I meet the surgeon on August 18th at that time they will submit to insurance and hopefully we will get a date soon! Also I will meet again with the nutritionist and go over my diet plan after the surgery. I was happy to hear that my doctors are moving to a new facility and I will be having my surgery at the new mercy west hospital!
I picked Mercy as they are a center of excellence and I feel I will get the best possible care! So much to learn yet. Thank you all who read this and god who is my rock and my wonderful husband who is always there for me!
