Mica came through her surgery well and is recovering in her room now. It was laproscopic and all went as planned. Yeah!

Well tomorrow is my surgery and I am doing ok. I am nervous, but I have so much to do that I am keeping busy. I will update as soon as I can. I am taking my husband's laptop to the hospital so I may be able to get a message out. I am about to reach another of my goals--get through surgery without freaking out from fear!      

Less than a week to go! I don't know if anyone will be going with me to the hospital on the day of my surgery. That's ok, I guess. I know they would if they could. I am doing well with the 10 day pre-surgery, liquid diet, the one I thought Dr. Cook said I didn't have to worry about. I am down to 328 from 376 on December 31,2008. I am getting hungry, but I haven't given in to temptation yet. I am starting to get anxious about the procedure. I'm not quite scared yet. I went to my hair stylist today and she said I am already loosing my hair; that's bad news! She said its common with weight loss. I knew it was a possibility after surgery, but I didn't expect it to start before hand! O well gotta loose weight from somewhere. At least, I won't have big hair or a fat head!!!

Everything went well yesterday. I am down to 333 as my official starting weight pre-op. That is down about 150 pounds from my highest back in 2000. My surgery date is a go for March 18th.

I am leaving in a few minutes for the 1.5 hour trip to Hickory for my PAT. I am nervous;  I don't like hospitals. It's strange, I fear the usual things needles, discomfort of the procedures, ... but I am also afraid of the distance I may be required to walk around the hospital and stupid stuff like that. I have lost 45 pounds so far since the New Year began. I think I am ready for the changes that are coming.

We need to sell our land ASAP! Please tell everyone you know that we have 13.5 acres of cleared land with road frontage on both sides. City water and sewer available. Asking $139,900. It is located halfway between Atlanta and Washington DC and just a block from the Mount Airy NC (Mayberry RFD)  city limits. Call our agent at (336)789-4986. My husband and I are going to work our problems out instead of splitting up! God has brought another miracle! Thank you Jesus!!!

I feel so low. I don't think I have ever felt this dismal before. Thank God for Prozac, I can't imagine what I would feel like without it! I can't stop crying. Tim hasn't come home, I have to consider that he may already be gone. Please pray that God will heal this marriage! 

Well my husband has dropped a bombshell on me tonight. He delivered his load in Denver and is headed back to North Carolina. He told me that he intends to move-out of our house. He said he was waiting to tell me after my surgery, but had decided that he wants out.
I don't even know which way to turn! I didn't see this  coming! He just bought me a precious Valentine's Day card and a stuffed heart. I am blind sided and in shock! 

I am still working at controlling what I eat! I have lost 2 more pounds. I have got to go to the store and get some acceptable snacks and food! I also need to do better getting all my water in on a daily basis. I have found a few Nascar  fans on OH! WooHoo!    
I am growing somewhat frightened of my surgery and the emotional ups and downs post-op. I am curious how some people lost so much weight quickly, while others are losing more moderately. Can anyone tell me how WLS affected Diverticulitis?
