Ok finally, surgery approved!  Now the hoops of tests and Psychological evaluation all have been scheduled should be finished with my end by Aug. 21st. A temp. date set for Oct. 28th however will probably be pushed to Nov. if paper work takes very long

Yesterday I finally met my surgeon, we went over all of my health issues he looked  me over and said YES I sure could have the surgery!! I cried.  It was such a relief to hear that, I can't tell you.  My Husband after hearing everything asking questions like; Doc. have you ever done the surgery on someone you thought would not get off the table? (I just about droped my teeth oh well thats my DH) The Dr. said NO in about 800 surgeries he has never lost a soul and he has had to tell nearly 100 people over the years NO, he would not do the surgery.  My DH after pondering everything over night said this morning he finally gets it and will support me.  He is no longer as afraid as before and understands why this is something that could actually  bring us closer, Get it, (physically)closer.  He thinks he is so funny !!) I'll let you know when I finally get a surgery date
 

Well I have a date to meet the Surgeon, 07/17/08.  Lets hope all goes well and I qualify for the surgery.  I have jumped thru hoops to get my ducks in a row for the insurance to be in place so now it's up to the Surgeon.  He is in Spokane WA at the Rockway clinic. If anyone out there has had Dr. Bright I would love to hear from you.
