pre op frustration

Last friday I started the liquid diet. I have been holding strong I cannot really tolerate those recommend/mandotory protien shakes that my surgeon advised I have been drinking the speacial K one only to find out that thats not recommended . I went on to let the nurse or whoever she was know that I cannot stomach taking EAS, SLIMFAST, ATKINS that Special K was the only one I was kinda ok with. what did I do that for she went off ,telling me "I was not going to have a good weight loss"( which my starting weight was 316 now i'm down to 303).I said I have not eatin anything I am just doing broth popsicles water things like that. She told me my liver will not shrink if I'm not on a high protein diet. The nutrtionist told me not to worry I will be fine and to try a tasteless protein powder. This lady pissed my off so bad (the nurse) that I just wanted to say the hell with it! I wanted to eat something so bad today becuz i feel like this week will be for nothing! what if they wont do the surgery? I'm scared
