Happy it's working!
Mar 23, 2009
Last night I finally saw a difference in my size! As you can see by my last post, I have been going to the gym religiously (some activity every day) and I was frustrated because I was "overweighing" myself and didn't see the scale moving at all. Last night I saw a 4.2 pound loss after only 3 days! I went from 193.20 to 189 and the 189 was at 7 pm! Yay!!
Took my measurements too and here they are:
Arms: 15" each
Waist: 40"
Hips: 42"
Thighs: 23" each and this was on the 21st.
I have decided to only recheck my measurements and weight once a week. So I will keep you updated next Sunday.
I have made sure to do several things to change the way I have been exercising and eating. Here are some tips for what is working for me:
1 - 75-100 oz of H2O every day
2 - Increase protein intake and concentrate on eating protein EVERY time I eat!
3 - Exercise EVERY day, even if its only 30 minutes of cardio. So far, I've done cardio and "abs", including situps and obliques EVERY day. Weight machines 3 or 4 days a week too.
4 - Quit unscheduled snacking, especially late at night. (This was VERY important to me, since I was a "nightcrawler", I would wake up in the middle of the night to take the dog out and make sure to stuff something in my mouth. BAD idea! So I've stopped that!

Fresh start today!
Mar 06, 2009
Well, today is the first day of my fresh start! I joined BOTT (Back on Track Together) and am excited to take off those pesky 25 pounds I put back on in the last 2 years. We joined a new 24 hour gym, which, coincidentally, is right next door, and I went at 6 this morning! It was great! I feel great and I am ready to recommit myself to this wonderful new me that has been here for the last 6 years. Let's go!
