Scared to death of surgery !

Hello, My name is Roger. I live in North Central Texas. Had my first opointment a few weeks ago in Wichita Falls , Texas, with Dr. Finnell. Hoping to have my surgery in November or December. Never had surgery in my life and am very scared. I have a irregular heart beat and congestive heart failure. This worries me about the surgery. Looking to hear from someone with these conditions that has had a gastricbypass.
Im hoping to lose 185 lbs after the surgery or at least 150. My Dr. does the Laperoscopic and I was wondering if anyone would like to share their experience from this surgery. Does it hurt really bad afterwards ? Do you feel like your dying ? How long untill you feel like your life gets back to normal ? Any info you would like to share would be appreciated.
