Stall :(

Feb 24, 2010

It is 6 weeks and I have lost 5 pounds. I am getting my protein. I am getting my hydration..most of the time. I take my nutrients and I go to the gym 4 times a week and do 30 mins of cardio and about 1 to 2 hours of weight training. my largest meals are about 8 ounces and usually consist of about 5 ounces of protein and the rest is veggies or some sort of carb. Carb intake is not high and calorie intake is maxed at 1200, but about 90% of the time it is about 1000 for the day. I know stalls  are normal and I'm changing things up in hopes of getting my weight loss started again. I am probably a little impatient, but such is the nature of wanting good things now.

The good things must be mentioned also. I have no need of oxygen with my Bi-pap machine while i sleep. The pressure of the machine was reduced from 25/22 to 12/8. My blood pressure seems to be in the normal range more often then not. I feel great. I am looking better to myself than I have in many years. I can do many things that were to demanding on my body, but now seem to be no problem. I have can be depended on to help with things that my weight previously kept me from doing. My wife is happy with how I am feeling and my improvements in my health( the bi-pap is much less noisy and the concentrator use to heat the room up something awful). I don't regret one moment in the pursuit of surgery and would choose to do it again in a heartbeat, even knowing what I know now.

In the end, I still want the weight off right now. :P
