ok, so last night i had my sleep study done....as the tech (such a nice woman) was wiring me up, she told me that just because my doctor ordered a split study, that my insurance wont allow that, and that once the results are read that i will probaby have to come back for part 2, and use the cpap and get wired again....WTF!!!
....i immediately got pissed because I dreaded going in and geared myself up by sayn "dont worry self, its only 1 night"....a lot of good that did huh....geeesh....anywhooo, i got all the wires taped and glued all over and was like ok, it sux but i can manage right.....ohhhh noooooo....here she comes with this mesh, condom freekn tight like cap to hold shit in place on my head...
..it came up over my chin and was so tight and itchy,thats when i was like, yea, it's gon be a long night....
.....it was lights out at 10:15pm....I eventually fall asleep..
...then the stupid thingys to measure my airflow near my mouth and nose musta moved cuz she came in 2x to fix it....which startled me and thank God i didnt wake up swinging...
lol...then falling back to sleep was that much harder.....i knew she was coming in about 5am to disconnect the wires and kick me out i musta been sooo excited i was already awake when she came in...i went n washed the gunk off of my face and ran outta there, i couldnt wait to go home and see my animals, ohh yea and my man...lol...
....so that is my part 1 of the sleep study experience....cant wait for part 2.....NOT......i did take a pic of myself and as soon as i gas myself up enuff to post it I will....I look ridiculous....lol

Hi everyone....i just had to post this cuz im soooooo freeeekn excited..
....well as i posted earlier, i sent my pprwork in to the surgeon and all that good stuff....welll i got a call today 
to go meet with my surgeon Dr Pham on 6/4/10.....which i am sooooo happy about because i am going for the psych evaluation (1st part) on Tuesady 3/30/10 (my ins says i have to do 2 one hour sessions cant do just 1 two hour session..
.grrrrr) and at that appt i will make the 2nd one....theeeen on 4/10/10 im going to get my lab work done, theeen on 4/12/10 is my sleep study....then on 4/20/10 i go back to see my PCP and get my letter of medical necessity and something else the surgeons pffice needs....but i am so glad cuz by 6/4/10 i will have everhting done and handed in so when i meet the surgeon i will find out what else is needed and then hopefully submit for approval.....i have a lurking feeling i will have to do a 6 month supervised diet for the ins co. tho....but i will see.... anyways yayyy i am soo hapy i have gotten this far so far and thanks for the encouragement....

P.S.- can anyone give me any tips on what to expect at psych evaluation? I guess the first part is and hour of true and false questions about myself, then next appt i will meet with the dr for and hour...thanks again

finally saw the new pcp, he is amazing-thanks for tellin me bout him Jill....anywho, he said absolutley to wls, and i left his office with scripts for all the testing along with a sleep study which i go for on 4/12/10....then back to the pcp on 4/20/10...lmao wont be hard to remember that date...just kiddin'. so as far as my carpal tunnel, i am going for the splints today and gota use em for a month and if no relief the dr is talking bout possible surgery for it....so i am estatic that i finally found a dr who takes an intrest in me rather than what i was dealing with with the old dr....so looks like this wls may actually happen sometime in the near future
so i will keep yall posted when i can....yayyyyyyy

well as you can see i was super excited in my last post about going to a new doctor and hopefully getting the referral i need to persue wls, well then my insurance got all effed up and my old doctor didnt get my records to the new doctor...blah blah blah...well tomorro Thursday 2/25/10 i am finally seeing the new doctor....and since all this has started i have been dealing with crazy, painful carpal tunnel in BOTH of my freakin hands and its pissing me off more than you kno....they are so tingley and my wrists hurt, and i will prolly need surgery for the carpal tunnel first.....anyways at least my issues will finally be heard and addressed tomorro, please wish me luck, i am soooo effin ready to have this wls and begin a new and healthy life....

well on tuesday i will go see my new primary doctor (one who IS supportive of wls) feels like this is taking forever tho....i just hope when i get in there and talk to him and he looks at my records that he will just say ok and not mess around...i am so ready to do this already, and i tell ya, OH has been soooo wonderful and i have been learning so much here...but anyways wish me luck and i will let yall kno how it goes....

well, went to a meeting last night and my super supportive future hubby came along...OMG I learned sooo much and everyone was so welcoming and helpful....Honestly I was nervous when we pulled into the parking lot, but once I got in and sat down....I felt soooo comfortable. I was able to talk to a bunch of people and I achieved my goal of getting some names and numbers of primay care doctors who support wls...so I am sooooo freakin excited and cant wait to get the show on the road!!!! Stay tuned.....
