I SAID A PRAYER FOR HUSBAND TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for your you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. Thank you Robert for your sincere and very much appreciated well wishing. It will be a hard and long journey I do believe for the both of us, and we need all the prayers that can be given. John and I have a precious 9 yr old son, and he is the reason we want to live longer. We each are starting this weighing about 285, and my body is dieing daily with diabetis complications. I want to kick that old demon in the bahootie and say good ridance to bad rubish! I am so looking to forward to not having to give myself shots anymore! Hey Gang.... DRUM ROLL PLEASE.!!! Surgery Day 11/11/02 531 lbs Post-Op 3 Weeks 12/2/02 473 lbs A 58 LB LOSS... Gee... I stepped on and off the scale 3 times @ the Weight Management Center @ Trident Medical Hospital thinking that there was a mistake. But the nurse assured me that it was accurate. Who would have ever thought that there would be a weight loss that large. I of course I'm not complaining and realize that this normal for a large massive weight loss in the beginning. I am so encouraged even more and looking forward to so many more days ahead in weight loss. I ENCOURAGE ALL TO CONTUNUE AND COME TO THIS SIDE. Just like those that have been down this road well ahead of me say...it does get easier each and everyday! Just keep your head in the Game! I WILL NEVER AGAIN SEE THE 500 MARK ON THE SCALE AGAIN...and this is what really excites me.And the 400 will be gone soon also. THIS IS NO YO-YO EXPRESS HERE...
