~*~(From my heart to yours)I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.(unknown author)~*~Hugs~*~

Hello All, I am 9 weeks post op and have lost a total of 63lbs and I am feeling great. For the first time in 6 years I am under 300lbs. Next week I take a trip to DisneyWorld with my grandson and will be able to walk with him instead of being in a scooter. Yeah hooray for me.

Does anyone know how I can update my personal comments. Everyone seems to have a "personal comments" area but I do not. How do I get one?

Congratulations on your surgery! The next year is going to be the most amazing of your life. I just want to let you know that here in the beginning is the toughest part. You will feel better than normal soon! These first few weeks and the surgery will only be a memory and you will be on to your new life. I am 10 months post op and I have lost nearly 130 pounds. I went from a size 24 to a 4 in a little over 6 months. Miracles do and will happen for you. I have tried to keep a profile that can be used as a resource. That answers all of the questions that I had when I was in your shoes. And links to various places to do more of your own research. If you have any questions or just need someone to talk to that understands please feel free to email me. Here is a link to my profile. http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/profile.phtml?N=A1008255446&NoStatic=1

3/21/03 Although I have lost 32 lbs as of Sunday last, I didn't really see it. But, today I put on a shirt and pants that I have worn on and off for the past three months and they were hanging on me. I guess that I have lost weight. What a strange feeling, but a good feeling.
