Let me tell you.  Last night I should have been comfortable but I wasn't, bed was too soft, made my back hurt.  You can't sleep on your stomach it has to be your back or side.  Sleep I don't know if I slept, I could hear very little noise, and while in the inbetween (sleep and awake), I was holding a conversation with myself in my mind.  Like what I needed to do the next day, stuff that was going to happen.  I did not feel like I got much sleep because I woke up I'd say about 4-5 times.  The tech syays they don't discuss the results so I have to wait until I get to the doctors office and he'll let me know I guess.  WOW what a nite.

Today I am going to see my primary care physician for my routine annual so that means bloodwork for me(updated).  I will also pick up any other documentation to be taken to Dr. Vohra for wls.   My sleep study is scheduled for 9pm tonight.  I really do think I may have apnea because even though I sleep at night I keep waking up, and I am exhausted the next day, and have no energy(being anemic doesn't help).
I have scheduled all my exams so everything should be completed by 2/15/2010.  I am kinda worried though because I have NYAmerichoice(medicaid HMO) and I don't know how many months worth of dieting they require you to have previously.  I did call and ask but  rep says they did not have that info, when dr calls for auth they would give them that info.  SO if any reads this and they know let me know please.  Thanks.

I went to the support group for weight loss, and it was great to meet a lot of people who lost lots of weight.  The are upfront about the good and the bad times that happen through the journey, but even in the end they would do it all over again.  I hav all my paperwork in, so i am waiting for my appointment on February 3, 2010, I will meet with psych, nutrionist, nurse, doctor, and hoping all goes well.  Since I am home, I have made all my appointments to be in the same week, so my results should be in by the following week.  Can I get a surgery date by the end of the month in Feb who knows possible. I am feeling good and very optimistic right now, I did not think I could be any happier right now.

Well I made it to the new year but with a lil scare.  Right as new year hit and morning rolled around, I started feel funny getting short of breathe as I walked and then the chest pains started.  I ended up in the er, about 2pm and was quickly ushered in and put on a monitor, well I wound up in the hospital, series of stress tests, scares because while I slept my heart rate dropped to 30, sleep apnea yes I have it now.  But all went well besides my enzymes being a lil off, no heart attack, dr syays possibly stress.  I can't wait to get this weight off.

I am excited as the day rolls around to my 1st appointment with my doctor.  I gathered some information about my psoriasis, and found many medical journal articles about how psoriasis is considered to be a co-morbid for obesity.  It states once people have the surgery the symptoms and rashes disappear and have not returned.  I am hoping that's my case study.  I can't wait to get rid of it since medicine does  not work.  My knees are not feeling so hot though although the weight loss would help a lot.  Stress is killing me with all the fighting between my boys, the youngest one thinks I love everybody more than him. And he is the only one I hug everyday 5 or 6 times a day saying I love you.  I am going to enroll them in an activity that will keep them busy and out of each others hair.

I am trying to stay healthy, my body does not want to cooperate after years of abuse.  Merry Xmas to my OH friends, I hope you have wonderful, wonderful day.

Well, I been researching gastric bypass for 3 years now I'm ready to do it. I faxed my insurance info, after verifing I'm covered, also I set my seminar for jan 21, 2010, at south nassau community.

I really need to do this because both of my knees are shot, I had between the 2 of them 4 surgeries, no more. I have insomnia, My hubby left me too fat for him, he's too embarrassed to be seen with me.  I also have psoriasis which is killer also.  So i am ready to start life over get into shape and get rid of this medical condition know as OBESITY.
