3 month appointment is done!

Has it really been 3 months?  Yep.

So in November I started this journey at 248.6 lbs.  I weight in before surgery at 234 and yesterday at my appointment at 190 lbs.  So I just have to say--that is 54% of the weight I needed to lose at the outset, and 46% of the weight I still needed to lose at surgery. 

Truth be told, I don't know that 141 (the high limit of a normal BMI) will be my final weight.  I think that this seems so much less than I could ever be.  But I'm going to just wait and see where this journey takes me.  I'm doing well so far.  Very happy with the whole 1.5-2 lbs a week I've averaged lossing.  I don't need fast, just regular to see changes. 

I haven't seen my parents since 3 weeks after surgery and I'm going to see them this weekend, I don't know what they will say, but I'm so very excited to see.  I hope that I can maintain this success.  I think that I can and will just need to remain positive.  It's really amazing to me that all of this has only been 8 months total so far.  What a difference these few months have made in my live.  Thank you all for your support and we'll see where we are in another 4 months, a full year from my start date.
