Hey stranger! Don't feel bad, it's been hectic here too. I'm working long hours and trying to be a Mom & wife too. I'm non-stop from morning until mid-night. Sounds like you are about to dry up. WOW..139 lbs! I'm at 145 and size 10 but losing about 5-8 lbs per month. I've been snacking too much and I can eat sugar and that's a PROBLEM!! I crave sweets more now than before, because I know I can eat them in small amounts and not gain weight! That's dangerous. I've been having problems with meat going down! I've thrown up more in the past month than I have the whole time (well, after my stricture in December)! I hate to throw up! Cheese grits made me sick (6 times on 2 bites of grits) and I can't stand the sight of them now. Well, let me hear from you when you get a chance. I hope all is better for you soon. Take care, Leigh

clap clap clap clap congrats on your fantastic weight loss.. i think your hair is fine, the cut is cute on you. and take heart it will grow back.... just think, which would your rather have rapunzels locks, or the fat that held you a prisoner in your own body. sometimes we tend to dwell on negatives, instead of the positives. and i would be willing to bet at least one person has commented on your cute hair style.... hang in there jan

Hello Stranger!! It's so great to hear an update on you. I was beginning to wonder if you were still here in the area! I had to have emergency surgery on 12/29 for a bowel stricture, but all is better. Soup is still my friend whether I want to admit it or not. I got some deli turkey & roast beef stuck on Monday (after eating it all weekend) and haven't felt good since. I am so afraid that I will have another stricture, but Dr. Lane & Weinstein said it was just a stitch that had come loose & my bowel had herniated through the hole & twisted. It was terrible but I have lost 50 lbs. I weigh 189 and wearing a 16W jeans at the moment. Madison & I have had the flu this week so I lost the last 4 lbs since Monday!! Oh well, let me hear from you! I didn't know if your email had changed. Mine is the same. Take care & tell your family HI for me! Leigh

Hey girl - Wow! 30 pounds in 2 weeks! That's great. How are you feeling? How are you dealing with the lack of food and stuff? I'm worried about the emotional aspect of it afterwards. *hugs*

Stephanie D (also from this website) and I popped in for a visit last night. Kimberly seemed to be doing great other than being a litte preturbed with the way the hospital staff was treating her. While there, I also met Leigh Colvin (Hi Leigh!!) and we had a great visit. Kimberly doesn't think she'll be getting out today. Dr. Lane told her to expect 3-5 days. By the way, be sure and ask her about her socks with the muli-colored toes! hehehe
