Congratulations!! I never knew when your surgery was rescheduled for but I have been thinking about you. I had my surgery on Nov 26th (tomorrow will be 4 wks ago). I feel pretty good even though I am getting over a terrible cold, double ear infection and sinus infection!! I have lost 26 lbs so far and already I had to buy new undies & bras!! I am in my smallest jeans so I have to go digging into my stuff I have put up for a yard sale to see if I have anything to wear after I lose more. I wish you all the luck and will continue to pray for you. Each day it will get easier. I still miss food, but I learned the hard way....you can only eat "so much" or your body lets you know real quick!! Take it easy and drink, drink, drink! Take care, Leigh

<font face="VERDANA" size="3">Hi everybody. I haven't been around much because I didn't want to obsess over my surgey until it was out of the way. But the time has come so I'm here to announce that I had my Lap-RNY on Tuesday, Dec 17th and I've been home since Thursday morning. Yay! I was fortunate enough to not have ANY complications and I've been able to tolerate everything that I've had to eat(drink). I am really blessed and I want to thank God for having his hand on my surgeon and the hospital staff during the whole thing. I also want to thank everyone who has ever written to me or prayed for me....especially <B>Kimberly Oconnell, Beth Allen and Charlene W.</B> Thank you guys for being there for me last week when I was upset right before my surgery because of my elevated temp. God is good!</font>
