I can't believe the difference in me.  Just this morning I was trying on clothers that I have bought that were too small.  I now have more that fit and again some more to pass on. 

I have lost 102 since surgery thats a total of 142lbs.  And I have lost a total of 57.5inches.  When I look in the mirror I can't believe it is me. 

I can do so much more now I don't feel like I will be 61 this week more like 41.  Why did I wait so long to do this surgery.?

I am doing very good.  Have lost 20lbs since surgery.  I have been lucky so far, knock on wood, no problems with light headedness or nausea.  Have a few moments where I feel just kind of blah and I go lay down for an hour and it passes.

I did have a reaction to the staples but now that they are out it is clearing. 

I am feeling good and like others my only regret is that I didn't do this years ago.

Well it is the night before I start optifast.  Feeling very anxious.  I just took a couple of gravol to see if it relax me so that I can sleep tonight. 

Here's hoping all goes well.

My surgery is Jan 19/11 at 8am.  Finally the day will be here soon.

I will be seeing Dr. Reed Nov 23rd.  Hopefully I will get my surgery before Christmas.

Well I am waiting for that all important call from Linda for my appointment with the surgeon.

I am now at the point where I am anxious to just get it done and start my new life.  When it is this close you can just taste it.  I hope that call comes soon.

I had my 2nd appt with the Nurse, nurtionist and social worker.  It went great.  I am now in the yellow book.  They told me that it would probably be October.

They have one surgeon on leave and the new one starts in July and should be doing surgery by the fall.  Hopefully they will then have 3 surgeons and the waiting list will get caught up.  Originally I thought my surgery might be Sept but and extra mth or so isn't so bad.

Yesterday was exciting and I felt like celebrating, my first thought was to go out for a great dinner but my sensible part of my head took over.  Kind of you just had your 2nd appt and things are great and now you want to go out for a great meal, wake up, so we didn't came home and had a healthy meal but it was still a great meal.

I recently went to a seminar on the RNY surgery, given my Dr. Graber from NY.  This is what started me thinking about this as it is now covered by OHIP.  I spent hours last night reading alot of the messages on this board.  I made the decision that if I can't stick to a healthier life still now then I won't be able to do it when if and when I get the surgery done.  I have spoken to the hospital in Guelph, which is only about 1 1/2 hrs from me and they said that if I get my doc to send in the referral in the next few weeks then my assessment would probably be in April and the surgery in Aug/Sept.
So today is the beginning of my journey.  I have an appt with my doc on Thursday.  Today I started a natural cleanse that I have.  No pills for it all done with food.  You do it for 21 days, my doc has seen this and thinks it is a great cleanse.  The last time I went on it I lasted 15days and lost 27lbs.  Of course that is all back. 
I am tired of being tired all the time and being uncomfortable.  My weight this morning is 351.4.  My husband and I love to travel and we leave in about 5 weeks for our 2 mth stay in Florida. 
Any advice and suggestions to stay motivated will be greatly appreciated.  I will keep you updated on my journey.
