4 months post op!

Aug 30, 2012

Wow i'm 4 months post op and 45 lbs lost since surgery. I have started working out 4-5 days a week. I never thought I'd be enjoying the gym as much as i do. It has been a great way to feel good about myself. I do about 30 mins of my workout on cardio only and rest 30 on weights and toning. So i can seen an improvement in my overall toning of my skin. I'm still drinking protein as much as i can. I did suffer quite a bit of hair loss. I was worried there for a minute becasue it felt like so much. My hair has always been thick and I would always have to be getting it thinned out when i got it cut. Not anymore. I was lacking on my protein intake during that month. It's like you do get tire of protein. I have found the Atkins protein drinks to be my favorite. I try to get the ones with 10-15 grams of protein in them. So i have enough protein in my day. This has been a challege but I am gonig back on ISOPURE with the 40 grams Ready mixed drinks. So i can get back on track. I'm loving my new body and can see a huge difference in my face shape. I'm loving my sleeve!!! I do have days where i would love to just eat all the junk food i want. I've learned to eat with my sleeve. This is a complete life style change and you just don't get that huge excitement for food like i used to. I always share plates or just stick with small steak or a salad for my meals. O and chicken is also my fav. at the moment. So for anyone contemplating it stop and do it. If you're wanting a lifestyle cahnge and aren't going to complain about it then do it. I waited 2 years to finally make my decision and 4 months into it I am sooo happy i did it.
