Yesterday 11-11-07 I was 5 mths out! I feel like such a new person through these past 5 months. This surgery is a life changing experience that you need to be mentally ready for. As of today i am 80 lbs lighter. OMG, it feels wonderful. I actually was bustng out of my size 22 pants prior to surgery and yesterday i decided to try on a size 12 just to see if i fit into them and low and behold I most certainly did. It felt wonderful to be able to get into them and wear them with room to move.
This surgery is the best thing that has happened in my life besides giving birth to 3 lovely daughters and marrying my husband.
It is like the weight melts off of your body, and it literally does.
My starting weight was 260, i am down to 180 today.
