I am in the process of preparing for leave at my place of employment. I have to make plans for everyday that I am out and it is taking way too much of my time. I am working up until my surgery date and I am pretty overwhelmed. Only 2 days to go.
A visit to the hospital

Today I went in for blood work. I had a couple of tests and found out that I have a heart murmur. I also had been really sick with the flu and had been on other medications. They wanted to know all about that since my surgery date is approaching. I am in the clear and they gave me a time. Only a week left! I decided to tell the people at my job. They were very supportive and there were a few that brought up the risk that I was taking. It felt good to get it out.
