I had a follow up appointment with my behavioral doctor and my dietition. They told me at the last meeting I needed to lose 10 pds, I thought this would be rather hard but I ended up losing 13!!!! I was so happy!! So, now I am officially approved by the weight center and all my information is being sent to the surgens office. I'll have an appointment with them, have my insurance approve it and SET A DATE!!! :) I am so unbelieveably happy!!

The program I am in requires classes, 350 dollars. Even if I do not get reimbursed I don't care. The classes were very educational and I am more knowledgable than even about what is to come. I have another appointment April 2 and then I can be approved and go forward. I'm looking at May-August for the surgery... yay!!! Gotta let that out!

I just finished some follow ups with my nutritionist and behavioral doctor. I have made alot of changes and will continue to make even better ones. I just put my payment down on classes I have to take in February, that costed me 350.00.. but well worth it. I have to go every Tuesday in that month. Once I finish those I can start getting approved for surgery and make a date! So excited! What worries me the most though, is losing that initial weigh before surgery... it seems like it's going to be tough. But I am sure my recent investments in workout equipment will pay off. Ahhh... finally.

This one way better and I recieved more support, but then she still concentrated on my age. I told her I was going to change my eating patterns, because whether I get this or not I have to change that especially. So before my next appointment in November I'm going to start a eating journal. She said alot of my problem is the choices in my house because of what my mom buys and alot is also how I was raised eating. I'm hoping I am young enough to change my ways. I'm excited that by December or January I could be starting my month of major appointments and by the next month after I could be scheduling my surgery! Finally... this could happen for me. Cross your fingers for me.

I went to my first meeting in late Sept and it didn't go very well. The doctor basically judged me on a 3 pg survey and wasnt too happy with me getting the surgery at my age. He was very hypocritical and said it would be a safe and health thing, but at my age it shouldn't be pushed, but he said he couldn't tell me what to do. I have major joint and back pain which hinder my exercise, which I could eat as best as I can on my own but if I can't exercise I can't lose weight the way I should. I'm going to continue on and push to have this because I know it'll help me better my life and let me do what I wish to in this lifetime. I won't give up..

I've been to one of these meeting 2 years ago... but due to insurance and the time in my life I couldn't. So this was just to learn more about the options of both methods of the surgery. My friend Katie came with me for support. It was nice to have someone there. Here we gooooo.... !!
