I've never been one to have a blog and I'm obviously not keeping this one up, either, so I'm just going to write some things here and there as I feel the need and let the pressure of a daily blog be swept away in the wind.I wore a blouse to work today that made me finally realize that, yes, I AM losing the weight. This blouse has short sleeves with a pretty little ruffled cuff that has two buttons to make the cuff tighter or looser, depending on your upper arm size. Well, when I originally got the blouse, it fit perfectly everywhere, except the upper arm cuffs were still just a little too tight, even with the largest opening, so I would unbutton the sleeves and just let it go. After putting it on this morning, my arms were swimming in the short sleeves! I buttoned it up one time and it was still too large in the upper arm. So, I buttoned it on the second button to make the cuff as tight as it would go and the short sleeve was still too big!! I was completely amazed...still am. I've noticed some things here and there in the way some of my clothes have fit and in being able to move easier, but for some reason, this really hit home this time. I actually got excited...for the first time since the surgery! I actually felt some hope that I had not made a mistake afterall. Wow, just amazing. I can't wait to see what else is down the road for me.
