A Miracle
Jun 13, 2013
Before my surgery I was buying size 18-20 pants and XL-XXL shirts. There were no cute clothes and everything looked horrible. I do a lot of hiking (always have) and it was getting more and more difficult for me to do (at 224 lbs.). I had knee pain, plantar fasciitis, ankle pain, bursitis in my hip, I would turn beet red and not be able to breathe trying to hike up hills.
Now, a year and a half after my surgery I am (139 lbs.) wearing a size 6 pants and extra small shirts! When I go clothes shopping I can buy any cute thing that I can afford, lol... I am now able to hike twice the amount of distance than I used to(from 6 miles to 12 at a time) and have almost no problem hiking up most hills. My hip, ankle and foot pain are gone, I still have some knee pain when hiking downhill but this is normal for most people my age. Asthma is almost totally gone.
I have followed everything by the book and all the rules to the tee... I have noticed that most people do not do this..and have had some problems because of it. The rules are there for a reason. They need to be followed exactly.
My BMI is now down 14.5 points to 23.9!!
