"I was very upset after my surgery because the nurses wouldn't bring my liquids to me when I was suppose to have them. Then when I would get them and take a couple of sips (we are to drink slow) they would take it away from me while I went to the bathroom. There was one nurse in perticular that made me feel that I was an idiot. I had a 2nd IV in my hand, while I was in the bathroom it broke off. I told the nurse this and she screamed at me and told me that I didn't have a 2nd IV. I told her that sure the F*^$ did and go in the bathroom and she would find the other part of it. She wouldn't do it and then the nurses aide went in and she found it. Do you think I got an apology for that? NOTHING NADA!!!! When Dr P asked how I was doing with the diet I said that I was ok with it if they would give me the stuff on time. You told me I was to take in something every hour that I was awake. I get something in about every 3-4 hours except for the water that I get from the tap myself. He was upset and did get that straightened out right before I went home. I would not want to be in that hospital again if that is the service that they provide."

"When I went to see Dr. P. I was suprised to find out he looks like Jeff Gordon from NASCAR. He was very caring, patient, gave me a lot of good information. He is sending me for a lot of test, and clearances by other Dr's because of some health issues which make me feel good to know he wants me in the best of shape. He went over the risk of the surgery very well. He tells you just like it is. I think that was great. He tells you right from the start that aftercare is VERY, VERY important. He even has a kind of structured aftercare program from what he told me. His office staff is very helpful. They were very pleasant to deal with. "
