Had open RNY - distal on Wednesday, 24 Oct at Kettering Hospital in Kettering, Ohio (near Dayton). I wasn't nervous at all cause I knew I had to do this. Surgery was 1 1/2 hr; in pain after surgery for about 3 hours. Took few steps that evening. Walked the next day. Came home on Saturday.

Hi All - just got an e-mail from Sudy Reynolds' sister Judy telling me that she came through her surgery on the 24th just fine! She has been up on her walks and is taking clear liquids! She made it to the other side! Thanks to all who sent her wishes and prayers! She will be home soon and on her way to her new life journey. I knew you'd do fine, Sudy! Cheryl Rymer(temporary angel)
