Hey Suzi.. be patient with your weight lost.. and yes it is hard work.. and only because someone says its just falling off, doesnt mean there not working at it.. Trust your body knows how much it should lose at a time ( for health reasons) your doing great and sometimes it helps to hear it from other people.. YOUR DOING GREAT!!!! You didnt gain weight over night.. but its funny because now you lose it over night .. RELAX, have fun with this journey.. things will work out fine.. ask someone who felt just like you did a few weeks ago. and now im kicking it in full speed ahead walking and water and protein.. smile your beautiful...

2/4/03 Well, it is done and I am home. Open RNY on 1/22/03. I am not diggin' this clear liquids diet but I knew I wouldn't like it. It is very hard to feed the kids yummy food and eat only jello. Just a little complaint. Still have minor discomfort but it gets less every day. Two more weeks for yogurt and then I'm free. Thanks to all of you for the well wishes on my profile. I really think it was all the prayers being said for me that made it so much easier than I expected. You are wonderful people, thank you. Suzi

Hi, all you AMOS folks. I just heard from Suzi Cashman. She had her surgery on 1-22-03 and is now at her parent's house recuperating. She said she is not in too much pain. She will be going back to her house, hopefully this weekend. Welcome to the LOSING side, my friend!
