I got a letter from the Hospital giving me my Pre-Admission Testing date of 8/14. It said I will also see the Dr on this date. It will take from 2pm-6pm total. 

The letter did not give me the date of my surgery. I called the number listed and they transfered me. Then I was disconnected. I called back, spoke to two different people and then was transfered to the Obesity Center. 

I told them I received it, but still no date. I was told this was normal again! I asked for the date and they finally told me I was on the schedule for 8/25! I asked if this would be changed and she said there is always a chance but probably not and I would receive a letter in the mail with the information. When?! 

They should really give a piece of paper explaining all of the letters and when the patient would receive and the order. It would help the patient understand the whole process.

I am down 1/4 pound 293.25. It's alright, I will get there when I get my date. 

I have been looking at my house. There is a eat in kitchen, dining room, laundry room, bathroom, 2 bedrooms,  a room that doens't have a use where the door opens and then a living room. 

I think I am going to move the dinner table into the room with the front door, and then put in a tv work out tapes/dvds. Hopefully some work out equipment. I can't really do it in the room with the front door b/c it is to close to the living room, the noise of the two tvs wouldn't work. 

I was able to get a 4-wheeler last night! My fiance has one and it will allow up to actually use his. We can take it riding and camping. It will be nice to have a reason to get away from the tv and the couch. 

Still waiting for my date....grrr.

I received my preadmission papers in the mail today. When I called the admission office, I was told I have a date of 8/25, but it is subject to change. The admission person, said the obesity clinic schedules the date. The obesity clinic says the admissions office schedules a date!

I called the obesity clinic. They said it is customary to receive the preadmission papers before getting a date. Why don't they communicate this little fact? They said I still have a couple of weeks to wait for my actual date. 

On a happy note, I lost another pound. I am now down to 293.5, even after eating lunch. Hopefully it will last, since I also started my cycle.

Alright, I am depressed. I got my ins approval and it had a date of 7/30. The bariatric center received my approval on 6/5. Another girl on here goes to the Bariatric Center. It was sent into the ins co on 6/3. She had a date in house with the bariatric center for 7/28, she got it when she went in yesterday. She couldn't keep it and they gave her a new date of August. So I am thinking great, they moved so quickly for her, I call. I was told I don't have a date set. To get a date set can take up to a month. So they have until July 3rd just to get me a date. Then who knows how far into the future it will be. Uugh! Here I was feeling so good, thinking hopefully 6 wks away. Now I will be lucky if I get in before October. 

I am happy for her, just sad for myself.

Weighed in at lost a lb. 294.5. I will go in with my fiance to weigh in on 6/23. So I have ten days to go.

I went to the support group last night. I didn't get the card signed, but I did sign in. This was my second official one. I have 1 more that is required by the Bariatric Center.

When I looked over the letter I got from the Ins Co, I wasn't positive I was approved. But, I called today and it really happened. After reading and msging a couple of people it looks like the Ins Dates are pretty accurate. So I am looking at a date of roughtly 7/30. Which is my fathers BDay, so I am kinda hoping it will be a couple of days before or after. 

I am going to go to a support meeting tonight, since I didn't get in the three the Bariatric Center requre.

I called Aetna to check on my status. I was approved! Then, my finance got the letter in the mail today! I called Syracuse, My name has been submitted to get a date. It will take about two weeks to get my date, they said it could be up to a month to get me scheduled. I don’t understand why it takes so long to put my name on a calendar.

 

I went to check my weight. 295.5, this is after eating lunch and drinking a soda. Also, my I am having a really hard time getting my ring on and off of my finger. (I don’t sleep with them on, it hurts because my head is usually laying on my hand). I went swimming at the lake on Saturday and think it helped. I was expecting higher. My fiancé has an appointment on June 23 to get weighed for his second visit. Two weeks, I should look to lose weight. I still need to get in my support meetings. He has his sleep apnea test on Thursday so I can’t go then.  

Up to 297 (At least I just ate, but was at 296 yesterday.) I weigh in on Thursday, I realize I am not going to make weight, but I still want to go down.

295.25 today. Could be a combination of things, but still up. 10 days, 12 lbs. Will check back in Wed.

I went up to the Nurse's office to weight in today 294.5. I have lost 1.5 since Monday and 4lbs since last Thursday on the same scale. 

I have 11.5lbs to go. I need to put some exercise into my routine.
