Saturday... hadn't heard anything about Tara since Thursday so I went ahead and called her this evening. She said her surgeon had to fix 3 or 4 hernias in addition to the bypass so she is hurting quite a bit right now. She also has had a problem with her blood pressure being pretty high, which she didn't have before. She did sound in good spirits other than the pain, which is a good thing. Looks like she probably won't get out until at least Monday. I didn't notice posts were added here till now....

Update from Tara's husband off of FB: tara had a little fever this morning n her blood pressure was high her temp is down along with her bp down we go 4 walk n a bit

Tara is a VERY VERY AWESOME friend of mine, we used to work together at the hospital is Clarksville, TX. I talked to her and she sounds like she is in a WHOLE LOTTA PAIN!! She must be on some really good drugs though, cuz I had a hard time understanding her on the phone, but I was glad to hear her voice and know she is still hanging in there!! Tara, I am praying for you and can't wait to see you!! I love you and I am so sorry that you have had to go thru HELL for your dream to come true, but I know it will. I am here for you always and when you are able to remember talking to me (off the drugs, lol) then I know you'll be better. I know that when I first called you to tell you I had gastric bypass, I got you started with this obsession that I have, I hope while you're in pain and on the liquid diet you don't cuss me and I hope you will still love me when the worst is over!! Tara's husband just posted this on FB " up n outta bed they took her to x-ray told her she has to walk around today said she might get to come go sunday still n lot of pain though but she said it is worth it thanks for all da prayers"
