What to do

Jun 30, 2023

I wanted to reach out because I have been feeling torn about what to do with my old clothes that I used to wear when I weighed over 600 pounds. Despite knowing that I will never need them again, I find myself wanting to hold onto them, just in case.

Letting go of these clothes symbolizes more than just shedding the physical weight. It represents the incredible journey I have been on to achieve a healthier lifestyle and overcome the challenges I faced. It shows the progress I've made and the determination that pushed me to reach my goals.

However, I understand that holding onto these clothes may serve as a reminder of where I once was, and it's important to reflect on the progress I have made and not dwell on the past. It's essential to focus on the present and the future ahead of me.

Ultimately, I believe it is time for me to say goodbye to these old clothes. Donating them to a worthy cause or someone in need would give them a new purpose and provide a sense of closure for me. Alternatively, I could also consider repurposing them into something meaningful, such as turning them into a quilt or artwork that symbolizes my journey.

I would appreciate your advice and input on this matter. Have you come across a similar situation in your own life? What did you decide to do with clothing that no longer fit? I value your perspective and would be grateful for any guidance you can offer.

Thank you for taking the time to read this
