Hey Margaret, you look great! What a terrific job you are doing. And I love your site. Violets and pansies are my favorites. I really liked how informative your surgery description was. You are very inspiring to me. I go in Oct. 30 and have 180lbs to loose. I am 51 yrs. and can't wait to feel and look younger. Keep up the super work and let us know when you get the TT. Charmaine

Wow Margaret! You look marvelous! Is this a new pic or did I just not notice it before! I have the same problem with carbs-they sneak in even though I'm not eating the likely culprits. Clearly you are doing something right. Lynda ME/FL

Hey Margaret! I started doing pilates back in Feb, 1 1/2 mo post-op. I credit it with keeping me from plateauing (I had my first just after my 6th mo check-up). I do it 6 days a week, using one I found at WalMart specifically for weight loss and conditioning. It's an hour long workout, and it has 3 different levels. I'm now on the hardest level and I still love it. OK, I like it. More like, I like what it's done for my body. My body looks better now (yes, even with the sharpei folds) than it did the last time I was anywhere near my current weight. And my surgeon's head nurse was amazed at my 6th mo appt. She said I broke all their records. Needless to say, I'm thrilled with the pilates. Do it, do it, do it. Best wishes to you on your weight loss journey. PS I've never hopped on the protein train. Oh, and I broke my plateau by biking 7 mi, 3 days a week, along with the pilates.

~*~I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.~*~Hugs~*~

Margaret - Congratulations on your first year anniversary. You have done well. I enjoyed your profile info. I am almost two years post op and I have lost 164 lbs! I started out at 302 and now I weigh 138. I'm 5'2. I think this surgery is miraculous!
