I can honestly say, (three months post op!), this surgery is the best thing I have ever done for my self. I really wish I had done it years ago. Weight loss is now at 55 lbs. I have gone from a size 24 (tight) to an loose 18. Learning to eat healthy, and exercise. The best thing about it is the sugar intolerance. I was always very addicted to sweets. Now, I don't ever crave them. AWESOME!

Threresa, Best of wishes to you as those days roll away!! Keep some positive thoughts and do some nice things for yourself. As far as having protien on hand after surgery...a word of advice. Many of us experienced taste bud changes after our surgeries. I did liquid protein prior to my surgery, not recommended by the doc, BUT I wanted to drop some pounds prior to surgery. Everything that I liked before surgery was horrid after surgery. Visit a website that you can order samples to see what you like. Vitalady.com is one site that sells samples for 1.99 each. GNC will also give you a money back guarntee on anything that you do not like. Just do not buy but a little of one thing until you find what works for you. Best of wishes for an easy crossing!!
