I realize I have a long road ahead of me, BUT I called medicaid of NC today and found out they do cover the surgery. They told me the requirements and I was like pshhh I got that lol. I know I have to be on a diet for 6 months and monitored by a dr. Then afterwards he'll refer me to a specialist. I just feel like there really is a light at the end of this tunnel finally. I am completely focused now :-).
