HEY OH FAMILY, 
I HAD A VERY GOOD WEEK.  BUT THURSDAY WAS GREAT.  MY GENERAL MANAGER WAS IN A MEETING WITH ME AND SEVERAL OTHER CO-WORKERS WHEN HE PULLED ME TO THE SIDE AND ASKED "GIRL, HOW MUCH WEIGHT HAVE YOU LOST SO FAR?"  I REPLIED NONCHANTLY  55LBS BECAUSE WHEN I LOOK IN THE MIRROR I STILL SEE OBESE.  HE GAVE ME A HIGH FIVE AND SAID "KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK YOU LOOK GREAT."  IT REALLY MADE ME FEEL GOOD BECAUSE HE IS AN ADVOCATE FOR HEALTHY LIVING.  I HAD TO GO TO THE LADIES ROOM AND DO A LITTLE VICTORY DANCE.  IT WAS REALLY UPLIFTING TO KNOW THAT SOMEONE IS IN YOUR CORNER AND WANTS YOU TO SUCCEED.

HEY TO ALL OF MY OH FAMILY. I'VE FINALLY BROKE THE PLATEAU THAT I WAS ON AND AM NOW 269LBS,  I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER REACH IT.  I HAVE BEEN FEELING A LITTLE UNDER THE WEATHER LATELY SO I HAVE NOT BEEN EXERCISING THE REQUIRED AMOUNT OF TIME DAILY.  I WILL RESTART TODAY!!! 49LBS IN 2 MONTHS, THIS TOOL IS AWESOME.  WHO WOULD HAVE IMAGINED.(LOL)  I CAN NOW WEAR SOME 18W DEPENDING ON THE STYLE BECAUSE I STILL HAVE THESE HIPS.  WHICH I HAVE ALWAYS HAD EVEN WHEN I WAS YOUNG AND NOT OVERWEIGHT.  WILL KEEP YOU POSTED AND MY PRAYERS ARE WITH ALL OF MY OH FAMILY.

TODAY WAS A GREAT DAY!!  IT STARTED AT 2:30AM WHEN MY CO-WORKER APPROACHED ME AND SAID"lOOKING GOOD GIRL".  SHE COULD REALLY SEE THE DIFFERENCE IN MY WEIGHT LOSS.  I KNOW FROM READING OTHER PROFILES THAT IT MAY BE AWHILE BEFORE I SEE THE CHANGE OR FEEL DIFFERENT AFTER BEING OVERWEIGHT FOR SUCH A LONG TIME.  I KNOW ITS HAPPENING BECAUSE MY UNIFORM PANTS ARE BEGINNING TO BUCKLE AT THE TOP ESPECIALLY WHEN I TIGHTEN MY BELT.  I CURRENTLY WEIGH 275LBS/PRE-OP 315.  I WILL POST A PIC LATER.  BACK TO WORK FOR NOW.

Hi OH family,
I went to my 1 month checkup and lost 23lbs.  What a thrill!! I never thought this day would come in my life.  I know I still have a ways to go but it's a start.  My journey started at 312lbs/down to 289lbs.  My children are ecstatic, they are my biggest supporters.

Hey to all of my OH family, its been awhile since I last posted but here I am.  I would like to thank each and everyone of you for keeping me in your prayers.  Especially my Sis-in-law katrinia115 and my brother they have been a great support team.  Well, the surgery is over and my transformation begins lol.  I walk daily with the help of my kids keeping me motivated.  Some of the liquids that I was able to drink prior to wls now does not go down well.  Anyone experienced this ?
My 2wk appt is scheduled for 2/14/08 kinda anxious to weigh, kinda not when you have battled obesity for years (scales are like monsters in closets).  Will post again soon.

Day 11 and the count down begins...I am feeling apprehensive now.  I guess its because my day is sloooowly approaching. (1/30/08)  I went to work today to clear my desk and close some loose ends because Monday will be my last full day at work.  Everyone wished me well on my surgery.  That was a plus since I have heard so much negativity lately.  I am not going to let it get to me because Iknow this decision is for me.  I continue to drink my protein drinks and my crystal light and water waiting for my big day.  My sis-in-law is doing so great with her tool I just hope I do well also.  I will post again on or before my day to let you all know what is going on and how i am feeling.

Well, today seems to be passing tooo slow for me.  I have 4 more days before the big day.  My kids have become my biggest supporters, I never thought they would understand but they do.  Kids are so amazing at times.  I have not heard from my physicians office to confirm the time but I guess I still have a few more days.  Well, I have waited all these years for this, so what is 4 more days.

Day 9 of the liquid diet and I am moving right along.  As the day get closer, I am getting a little apprehensive about the surgery.  I have a great support group at work that helps me daily with this task.  They refuse to eat at their desk or pull out the good stuff  (chocolate) in front of me.  Aren't they the best!!!.  Ms Cindy has joined my friends page so she can go through each step with me.  That really made me feel special.  We are going to take a photo on the last day I report to work so I can have their pics with me before, during, and after my big day.  Well, I am at work so I will try and update a little later.

P.S I think I have lost @ 10lbs while on the liquid diet.  WONDERFUL

01/22/08 Day 5 of the liquid diet.  I guess it is worth it since I know 1/30/08 will be the first day of the rest of my life.  I will finally become a member of the losers club..  I am a little anxious as well as nervous now that my day is slowly arriving.  I have 8 more days of liquid left.  I noticed a small looseness in my uniform pants today.  That's a plus.  At least i will go into my change smaller.
