Where have I been??

Jun 01, 2008

Wow! I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted, but hey, better late than never.  I am now down 133 pounds. Last time I posted I had ONLY lost 75 lbs. I cannot believe I am saying this. I weigh 112 lbs. and am wearing a loose size 2. That is down from a size 26!!!!!!   I tell you all of this in order to stress..........Don't sell yourself short. I was very complacent to have lost that 75 lbs. but God wasn't finished with me yet. Boy was I in for the ride of my life.  Keep your eye on the goal and BEYOND. All things are possible.  Email me [email protected] because I could just go on and on here

A Milestone for Me

Aug 12, 2007

I am so excited because I have lost 75 lbs.  This is so unbelieveable for me. I was lying in bed the other night and got to thinking about 75 lbs.  I went to the grocery store and loaded up 15 bags of 5# potatoes and pushed it around the store. That is what I have been carrying around with me....two small children worth of fat. Every day I thank God for allowing me to have this surgery. I am swimming in a two piece bathing suit (That's right) and riding my bicycle and doing things I have missed so much. I am not finished yet. Stay turned for my next goal.....Go ME!!!

Long Time - No See

Jun 25, 2007

I have not visited in quite a while, but wanted to check in and post that I am three months post-op and have lost 56 pounds. I am so happy with the results from my WLS. If anyone has any doubts or concerns whatsoever, please dismiss them and set yourself free. You deserve to be free to live the life you were intended to live. I will be cruising to the Carribean in October and I will be ready this time. Enjoy life!

One week PostOp

Mar 22, 2007

Today I am one week post op and I have lost 11 pounds. I am still on full liquids so in order to get in all the necessary fluids I feel like I am either drinking or "eating" all the time. How can I lose weight and feel so full all the time. I have not had any problems at all. I have only 5 little punctures in the central location of my abdomen. I am walking close to 1.5 miles per day either on the treadmill or outside. I am going stir crazy. I guess the scariest thing for me right now is .......am I going to wake up and start gaining this weight back? From what I understand, this is a common thought among US "Losers". I am proud to be a part of this community.
