Hi all
Jul 30, 2008
Sorry I haven't logged in for quite some time. I can't usually access this site from my computer at home. It always shuts down and I have been so busy at work lately and haven't had the chance to get on.
I had my surgery on June 30th and all went well. I had some pain the first couple of days, but after that, just some soreness. Still have a little tenderness in my port area, but everyone says that is normal.
I have lost about 15 lbs since my surgery. Now that I am eating more solid foods right now, everything is at a stand still. I guess the only thing I am happy about is that I am not gaining. I find that I am getting hungrier than I was at first and more often. I still get satisfied with a little amount of food, just want it more often. I guess with the increased activity and going back to work, I may need to add a snack. I try to stay away from snacking, but I guess I could use a boost in my energy levels.
I hope everyone is doing well. I can't wait for my first fill. I was hoping I wouldn't need one, but the last couple of days has been harder. I guess I really shouldn't be complaining. I am still eating alot less than before and food is not the focus of my life now, so there has been some positive changes. I don't binge and I don't eat for emotional reasons. In fact, I don't even think about food until my tummy growls at me.
Best wishes to all.
New surgery date
Jun 11, 2008
Hi all,
Nothing went as planned last month, so I had to reschedule my surgery. My pre-op is set for June 25th with a surgery date of June 30th. How funny that my first date was scheduled for May 30th, now my new date is June 30th. Guess I just had the wrong month, LOL!!!1
Can't wait to finally be banded. I am kind of nervous, but that is normal. I know good things will come about as a result.

I can't wait.
I am not liking this liquid diet too much, but I keep reading, everything is worth it in the end.
