So I am just over 4 months out and down 83 pounds. I feel great, have been going to the gym (up until last week when I had a hysterectomy), and been walking 2-3 miles with out newly adopted pit/boxer Lucy.

Well started at Curves today... OMG I feel GREAT!!! I have been getting my energy back and just want to keep busy. I hate sitting around anymore not moving. End of week six and down 38 pounds.. woooohoooo

Well 5 weeks out and 32 pounds down. Went to PCP yesterday and since April I have lost 39 pounds... Starting to notice it more and feeling great.

Well surgery was monday. Was released and came home yesterday.

That is my surgery date.. woohoo

Got the call today, I go up to Madigan on Friday for consult with Dr. Martin. I can't believe that it is really going to be happening soon. I have never gotten this close before, always had it pulled out from under me sooner than this.

First I want to say that I love my PCP here in Oregon, but I hate his new office staff. They have proven themselves to be incompetent morons. I went in for an apt in January, Dr noted to be prepared to receive medical record requests from Madigan Hospital. I have my initial orientation on Feb 3, I call the doctors office to make sure they have all the paper work in place and am told that since he moved offices I need to come in an sign an new ROI, which I did immediately. Feb goes by, March goes by and I have classes done and everything at Madigan. April I finish everything up there but they have not received ANY records from my PCP. Come to find out the idiot front desk person obviously mis filed or round filed my signed ROI. Needless to say, they had been getting fax requests from Madigan but do you think any of the brainless twits in the office call and ask why I don't have a signed ROI?? No, I call and find this out. Go in on April 14th to sign a new one. Speak to the medical records person on Friday and am informed that she is getting ready to fax all info right then. Next week goes by and by Friday Lakeesha at pathways still hasn't gotten anything and was told when she called that they actually mailed them on the 19th because there was just too much to fax. Monday was the 2nd, I call medical records to see if they have some sort of tracking on confidential information they send and am told no. Tuesday afternoon I pick up all 97 pages of reports and Wednesday morning fax them to Madigan, guess what LAKEESHIA GOT THE RECORDS... Amazing how that happens. So now I just wait to make the apt with the surgeon... FINALLY
