Well, I finally made it into the single-hundred digits! As of this morning I'm at 198 lbs! Also, I'm halfway to my personal goal of 140 lbs!

I am still completely shocked when I look at my before and after pics....just...SHOCKED!! And in only 6 weeks! My mind almost feels like it's in denial, lol!

Had my 6 week post-op appt yesterday. I am down 34.5 pounds so far. I'm excited about the new 6 week post-op food list, but also scared to try new things that aren't liquidy. And even though my next appt isn't until August, they gave me an 8 week post-op food list (glad too see the foods on it, lol). I'm healing well and can do most things myself.

Everything went smoothly and my recovery is going good. Still a little sore, but I'm getting around a lot better. A bit dizzy and a little nausea most of the time, but only enough to be annoying, lol! Tries taking my first shower yesterday, made it about 5-10 minutes before starting to pass out...thank goodness I only came close to passing out, lol! Weighed myself today, 17 pounds down so far, but I'm thinking that that's water weight and I have no solids in me, lol!

Surgery is still on for the 23rd. I am so so so so SO nervous!! I know everything will be fine and I know that even though I don't like change, this is really a change for the better.
Trying to think positive.
Looking at all the before and after pictures on here gives me HOPE and makes me feel excited about all the new possibilities that this will bring. Although, I'm scared of needles, scared of life after the surgery...food has always been there, it's always been constant and unchanging... What will I do when I'm not constantly thinking about food.
This will definitely be an adventure, that's for sure!
