2nd weight management appointment

On Thursday was my 2ND weight management appointment, and boy did I feel as it came so fast. It went great!!! I am down another 3lbs and I honestly don't know how that happen, YES I am eating in smaller portions but when it comes to working out I just start last week. ANYWAYS I am very happy with my weight this is 10lbs down so far. My nutritionist was very pleased. March 5Th is my next and last weight management appointment and from there on come the hard stuff, labs procedures etc, but I can't wait. I am becoming more and more excited!. On another note on Friday I ate chips and pizza and drank soda, It was my nieces birthday party and that's what they had, though I didn't pick a lot I know I have to control myself for things like this in the future. Baby steps...

Disappointed in myself

So about two weeks ago I was suppose to start doing Zumba at home, being that my sister has the game and xbox kinect. My first day doing it was great (though my feet were killing me, soooo need to get some good sneakers 
) My sister then told me she would start doing it with me and we planned to do Zumba 3 days a weeks cuz that's what my nutritionist told me. But what happen we haven't done Zumba since, which gets me upset cuz I was kinda happy that I wasn't going to be this alone, but once again I cant count on no one. When I decided to get back on track my sister went an gave her bf her xbox so I was screwed. But she got it back and I am going to start all over again tomorrow with or without. I have to stay focus on me....

First time seeing my Dr for WLS!!!!!

My first appointment to see a Dr for WLS, was just the other day Jan 6, 2012... Boy did I wait a long time just to see my Dr.. But as I waited I realized almost all the patients there were there to see my Dr all I heard was great things about this man. So even though I was nervous I was just as excited to get all this started. The appointment went good and he was such a nice Man. He asked me if I had any fears and one of them was I was scared I wouldn't get approved to get surgery. My BMI is was above 40 and even though I am morbidly obese, I do not have any complications or health risk. NO hypertension, NO diabetes, NOTHING just FAT! My next appointment is Feb 7 and according to the Dr the first 3 months of this process is called weight management.. so Lets see how my journey goes..WISH ME LUCK!
