Shirley, It has been so great following your PREop work now the big and exciting time has arrived. I cannot wait to see your post I am home and safely on the loser's bench. Please know I will be praying for you, your surgery, and your recovery. Follow all of your surgeon's rules and regs and you will be another successful CALI board member. Good Luck with your surgery monday.. its really too bad were at both hospitals.. we could have been walking buddies.. :) Heres hoping for Uneventful surgeries and speedy recoveries..

~~~~~~CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY~~~~~~ (Everything in our lives happens for a purpose and that purpose is to prepare us) May God give you courage, strength and guidance throughout your new journey. You are about to embark on the most amazing transformation of you mind, body and soul. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Sending Prayers your way that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands. May the guardian angels wrap their loving arms of protection around you during your surgery and recovery . Remember your not alone in this journey, many of us have been down this road, we are here to offer love and support. Looking forward to hearing from you on the loosing side. Wishing you much luck and success on your surgery. Always remember that this is a life altering change and that you did what was best for you. Never second guess your decesion, take whatever comes your way in stride. Through the good days and the bad, hang in there, the end result is WONDERFUL!!! Adrienne

Hi Shirley - It looks like you've had a long frustrating road to get your surgery date. Just hang in there. If you want it bad enough, you'll make it happen - one way or another. I just got my surgery date - August 7th!! I also noticed you're from Long Beach - so am I! Maybe I'll see you at one of the Support Groups this month. Anyway - good luck to you! :) Kathlene
