I have been contemplating WLS since 2006, but chickened out!  Forward wind to now 2015' I woke up 2:00 am one morning to go to the restroom and my body ached.  My hip and knees hurt so bad.  That's when the thought came to my mind "you need to go ahead with WLS".  I am a medical assistant, so I went to work the next day to talk with the doctor about my decision.  Needless to say I have an upcoming appointment so I can be referred for bariatric surgery on June 18, 2015.
