6 weeks since surgery and 1st fill

Well, I am 6 weeks out from surgery and yesterday I had my first fill. That was interesting. I am a little sore around the port right now, but not bad. Doctor told me I don't have to do the liquid diet part but to eat slowly and chew well. I thought I would have to follow the liquid diet as many posters have to after their fills. I am not as hungry as I was which is nice and feel full faster. I go for my 2nd fill in two weeks. My doctor says he likes to get us to that "Sweet spot" as fast as he can to help with the weight loss.So far my blood sugars are doing good. I would like to see them get lower. This morning I showed a 127. Now that the holiday's are over, I can do better at what I should be eating.
