Almost 2 months post-op and feeling great!

Well it has been almost 2 months since surgery and I am feeling great. I am basically off all my diabetic medicine. I just take a 1/2 of Glipzide once in a while if my BS goes high, which is caused by eating to much carbs usually. It is sure nice not to have to take what I was taking.I have had two fills so far on 1/5 and 1/19. I will see the doctor, 2/2 for a 3rd fill if needed. He is aggressive with his fills. He likes to get to that "Sweet Spot" as soon as he can. I do feel some restriction but still get hungry in the mornings now which is weird. Before I had my 1st fill, I was never hungry in the morning. Now that my blood sugars are the best they have been in a long, long time, I can start working on the weight loss which in turn will help my BS's even more.
As of today, I have lost 18 lbs since surgery. It is slow com paired to others, but I am older and not a usually fast loser. I am very happy with the pace. Slow but sure!
