Hi there, has anyone found any small prenatal vitamins?

All of the one's I have seen are HUGE. Thanks so much for any information you can share. Diane    — Lady D. (posted on November 4, 2002)

Diane, I have found the labeling on the prenatal vit and the Flintstone complete vit are almost the same. Actually you get MORE of the good stuff in the Flintstone complete vit and they are chewable. In fact my daughter in law takes the flintstones and she is PG for the second time. She used them for the 1st baby too. They are great. I also do 2 Flintstone myself a day and my labs are great. Try them. You'll be pleased.

I agree. I take 2 Flinstones per day because a while back my OBGYN told me they were the best before or during pregnancy. Most importantly, because they have a really good amount of folic acid. I am pregnant now and am continuing with the Flinstones.

I haven't found any small vitamins, but whatever you get make sure to ask the pharmacist if they are vitamins AND minerals. I've searched the world over (well, not the whole world!) and any pill under an M&M size does not have all the minerals in them, and this is very important. I just get my regular generic Centrum-type vitamin and cut them in half. And when I'm in a hurry I take liquid vitamins. They are gross by themselves but I found at my pharmacy that they will add flavor to any liquid medication. I asked them if they could do it for vitamins and they said sure. I bought a bottle of liquid vits and they added raspberry and it makes it very tolerable in liquid form. I add my tablespoon of vitamins to about 2 oz. of orange juice and it's gone in a few seconds. You can check out this info. at www.flavorx.com

Hi! Just happened upon your question. Wal-Mart makes a rather small prenatal vitamin. It is called One Source. It is in a pink and white box. They are great! Oblong about 1/2 and inch if not smaller.... Best wishes... T.
