Hi there. I'm only 11 days out from my surgery, and I too can have some soft foods, yet I almost always have discomfort. It's not horrible "pain" but it feels like alot of pressure. It's usually followed by the need to burp, like the pressure is mostly air. I think it will just take time. Our stomachs need to adjust, they've been through alot!

does it feel like you have swallowed a rock??? Been there done that!! Sone times at first the heavier foods go down like that. Just take one or two bites of the food that causes the pain, and it will eventually start to get better. IT just takes time.
