Question:
Which PCP would you recommend in the Pittsburgh, PA area

I am having problems with my PCP backing me 100% and I am now looking for a new PCP that is 100% supportive of this. I do have a consult scheduled with the surgeon, but I still want to switch.    — Kristina G. (posted on December 17, 2002)

I had the surgery in March 02 and my PCP is Bonnie Case her office is in Shaler. I can email you her name, address, and number. She is out of an UPMC office. Hope this helps.

I have a great oine in north hills right by ross park mall. But thats a long way from Jeanette. You might try find a peer here and e mail folks from close by you.

My PCP is Thomas Painter, MD, at UPMC Deot Internal Medicine at Montefiore. When I first discussed wls with him, he said that my insurance probably didn't cover the procedure. I said it does, and he referred me in. Ask that he document the wls inquiry in your medical file -- this helps enormously.
