Question:
I seem to have become fixated on my double chins. Did anyone else 350+ lbs lose

their second chin as you lost weight? I am ready for it to be gone. I am only down 71 with 199 more to go. Having a slimmer face would be very motivating cause I don't see the difference anywhere else.    — Ann B. (posted on May 16, 2003)

I was 427 pounds to start and have lost my double chin along with the 175 pounds to date. I recently shaved off my beard after 3 years of having one, however, and found that wrinkles had replaced the 2nd chin *G*...JR (open RNY 07/17/02 -175 pounds)

You will lose your chins. I started out at 410 I am now 201 my chins are 99 % gone I do have what I call a waddle under my chin but even that is firming up. Keep up the good work at curves, it is a great place to start. best of luck

I was 380 and have lost 178lbs and my monster face and double chins are gone, I even found my neck :) Theres a link to my picture on my profile. Great weight lose, keep up the good work and it will come, also take pictures of yourself sometimes we don't see in the mirror how small were are getting, I bet that chin is smaller than you think.

I am down 560 pounds with a start out of 863. The chins dissapeared, however, I did need plastic surgery afterwards.

from 425 to 270 in 10 months and my double chin has been gone for a couple of months now, unless I press my chin against my deflating chest (which is also going lol).

I was not 350+ but 277 when I had surgery. However I had a very puffy face and a fair number of chins! It has mostly gone away after 80 pounds. I have almost 50 to go but it gets batter and better. I am not sure of your age (I am almost 37) but I started using a coenzyme Q10 face cream twice a day and it is definitely improving the look of it. It is no longer so wrinkly. It is also doing wonders (really!!!) around my eyes and forehead! Good Luck!!!

I started at around 365, and I am down about 185 pounds. I have people ask me if I had my face done! The round face is gone, and I had to get used to my face being angular. I hope this helps.

I won't mind losing my extra chin...but is there a way to keep my cheeks. I like my dimples and don't want to look like Maria Shiver!

Check out my photos on my profile and you will see what happens to a double chin with weight loss. I've lost over 250 pounds and was talking to my plastic surgeon today about having my turkey wattle removed...

MOIST 'turkey waddle' looks better than dry 'turkey waddle'. ;) Seriously, be sure you are really moisurizing your skin. Wrinkles don't look so harsh when your skin is moist and supple.
