Question:
Did anyone have a TT were you was cut all the way around

I was wondering about this I am trying to have a TT hernia repair now waiting for INC to approve for it I would love it if DR could cut all the way around so it would pull my but back up were it used to be and the extra skin that hangs over the back of my jeans Take Care Huggs Beth    — wildbrat (posted on April 27, 2004)

This is called a lower body lift or belt lipectomy. It combines a TT with an outer thigh lift and a butt lift. I had one, but insurance only covered the TT. I had to pay out of pocket for the rest.

I had this done on 4-1-04. My P/S called it an Extended TT. He pulled up my outer thighs, butt, and laced my stomach muscles. He removed a total of 7lbs of extra skin. I am so happy with the results. I was a selp-pay. I figured it was worth it. RNY 2-5-03 291/155

Same here as the others. I had a LBL 9 weeks ago. Insurance covered the full extended abdominoplasty and I paid for the lateral thigh lift. My portion was $5,947. It's nice to get it all done at once. I really wanted this procedure because of the very large saddle bags I had on the outside of the thighs. If just the TT was done I would have been left with legs that would not begin to fit into pants or skirts that my gut and waist did. Definitely worth the cost and recovery time.
