Question:
Can anybody recommend a Plastic Surgeon in Mexico

Hi, I'm almost 3 years post-op and I've been holding steady at 125lbs for the past 2 years. I'm ready for a lower body lift and as I will have to be self-pay I'm looking for in-put from people who had the surgery done out of the country and what their experience was and also their results. First I would research all the plastic surgeons in your area for a cash package, I know where I live here in Texas we have many excellent ones that offer great cash packages that include everything hospital, anstheia, for just a very small amount more than Mexico. My sister was considering going to Mexico for a breast augmentation price difference was $800 and did not include travel expenses...Nancy

I used Dr. Eduardo Gongora in Rosarito Beach, Mexico. His web address is www.genesisclinic.net (not com). He does amazing LBL work. He is truly gifted in the TT and LBL arena. I cannot believe the difference in myself. I saw a local plastic surgeon yesterday b/c I still had some stitches from my plastic surgery and didn't want to go back to MX to get them removed. Anyway, I brought my "before" pics with me to the appointment in case she was interested. Before she even saw the before pics, she and her nurse went on and on about how great I look, what good work I had done, how amazing my scars healed. I then showed her my before pics and she could not say enough about how great my surgeon did. I'll be honest, I was wondering how an American plastic surgeon would respond to the fact that I went to MX. She was not surprised at all. In fact, she told me that she totally understood why I went there. She also said that there aren't a lot of surgeons who do GOOD work on the LBL's and that I had great work done. She also said that a lot of people go outside the country to find a good surgeon for LBL. In fact, she asked me if I would mind being a resource for her office for people who are interested in getting the LBL and if I'd be willing to share my experience. Of course I agreed. I asked about a scar revision and she said that she wouldn't do it on me because she thought that I couldn't get any better results than I already have. At that point, the nurse spoke up and said, "You can barely even see your scars". I was like, "Really?" and she and the PS both said, "You look fantastic, your surgeon did a great job". I know I'm going on and on about this but I was truly amazed at how much they said positively about my results. By the way, in my area in TX, there was a BIG difference in price in going to MX. I saved at least $10,000. The PS I saw yesterday confirmed that. Anyway, email me if you want specifics. I don't have pics online to share but I can share my experience. Paula

I had plastics done in Mexico with Dr. Manuel Romero. He did a fabulous job and the after care was great. I had a TT, thigh lift and Breast Aug. His website is esthetico.net (hope the speling is right) Tara 257/120

There are lots of great plastic surgeons in Mexico. Try www.plasticsurgeryjourneys.co, Its a support forum that shows an honest look at the good and bad of plastic surgery outside the US. Good Luck!
