Has anyone gone through Livelite program?
HAS ANYONE EVER HAD SURGERY AT SANGER HOSPITAL OR GONE THROUGH LIVELITE IN SANGER? I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS GONE THROUGH LIVELITE, AND NOW THIS ONE PROGRAM IS CALLED CDDC (CALIFORNIA DIGESTIVE DISEASE CENTER)? HAS ANYONE USED DR. HERBERT GLADEN? While I can not answer your question from personal experience, I did a
little research for you. Dr. Herbert Gladen is a surgeon in this site's
database. Go to the "find a doc" page and click on #2
"browse the list". If you click on California, you will get a
listing of surgeons in that state. Dr. Gladen is listed. If you click on
"view comments", you will first get a list of insurance companies
that have covered surgery with this surgeon. Next, is a section of patient
comments. Each comment has the members' names and link to their profiles,
and also their e-mail addresses. I would recommend e-mailing these people
personally and increase your chances of getting your specific questions
answered. BTW, the comments about Dr. Gladen are all very positive and

I had a friend who had surgery (not WLS) at Sanger Hospital--I went to
visit him and from what I saw--the care was excellent!!--Also--Dr. Gladen
saved my husband's life about 7 years ago--hubby had a rare intestinal
disorder and I was told that he would die (he was at Clovis Comm hosp at
the time) on the way over to get to Dr. Gladen--the doc is one of about
five surgeons in the entire U.S. that could do the surgery that hubby
needed--he came through with flying colors due to the expertise of Dr.
Herbert Gladen!! Perhaps you may know this already but be prepared to have
a wait to get in to see him--he is about the only surgeon who does WLS for
Medi-Cal patients that I know of in California--the man is busy!! One
extra thing--beware of "Olga" who works for Dr. Gladen--at least
two WLS friends of this site have had horrible experiences with her and
unfortunately she does the surgery scheduling--this was happening as late
as last month--she may have been fired by now--The good news is that you
will be in very good hands should you choose this team for your
surgery--just click on doc Gladen's profile here and read for yourself and
as another poster said--why not e-mail some of his patients to get
firsthand knowledge--Good Luck with whatever you decide!--I hate to post
anonymously but due to what I have said here--cut me some slack this time!!
